Paris, France was used as the location for the scenes between Cobb and Ariadne at a Parisian bistro, which actually was a small bakery. High-pressure nitrogen was used to create the effect of a series of blasts that blow up the café and the surrounding shops. This pivotal scene was shot in extreme slow motion to make the debris to appear to hang in mid-air.

“Yusuf” is the Arabic form of “Joseph”, the Biblical figure from Genesis 37-50, who had the gift of interpreting dreams. He was sold out by his brothers to Pharaoh. Through his gift of dream interpretation he helped Pharaoh to prepare for the disaster of the “seven lean years” and was rewarded as a result. The same character is also a Prophet in the Koran.

If you haven't heard it, it's basically that the spinning top is Mol's and he just carries it around to have with him. When he's dreaming, he's wearing his wedding ring and when he's not dreaming, he's not wearing his wedding ring. But yeah. Just curious if you agree with that...
